Meanwhile’s first collab with ITV and Coronation Street.
Creative agency, Meanwhile, with the help of Gas Music, have teamed up with ITV, Coronation Street and TFGM to create a very special Tram that is currently in operation across Greater Manchester.
The tram has been designed by the agency to promote The Coronation Street Experience at MediaCity, with illustrations representing its famous on-set locations. It also features a tweak to the iconic horn which can be heard as it plays the theme tune to the legendary ITV soap opera, Coronation Street.
The experience also features a renaming of the Imperial War Museum stop to ‘Weatherfield North’ as a homage to the long-running soap opera.
“We are beyond excited to launch the Coronation Street Tram as we celebrate a year of the Coronation Street Experience. We can’t wait to see the reaction from fans in Manchester as it rolls through the city, bringing the magic of the Coronation Street Experience to life,” added Jurian Van de Meer, EVP Brand Licensing, ITV.
