Chester Zoo launch their latest campaign today, ‘A Wondrous Place’, developed by Manchester-based creative agency Meanwhile, to drive visitations over the summer by extolling just how much richer a trip to the zoo can be over other attractions.
With an emotive film directed by Alex Dunning through Outsider, and an out-of-home campaign which includes a huge take-over of St Peter’s Square tram stop in Manchester, the engaging campaign executions very simply use the expressions of children to capture the wonderment they experience on each visit.
James Cross, Chief Creative Officer at Meanwhile, added: “The campaign centres on the inescapable truth that there’s so much more that folk take away from a visit from the zoo. It’s inspirational, and the Zoo are making a tangible difference to the world for the better. That’s a really exciting proposition, and we’re so proud to be able to tell the charity’s story in new and enchanting ways.”
